With light movements and energetic healing a MLD massage will help to detoxify the body and help to remove excess fluid. Beneficial before and after surgery to promote healing and remove swelling to the effected area. Feeling sluggish, tired or starting a detox/body cleanse MLD will assist the body to remove toxins and encourage natural drainage of lymph within the body. This is not a deep tissue massage, but a gentle massage with very light pressure and slow rhythmic movement to stimulate lymphatic flow. Please inform therapist if under a doctors care have had recent surgery or any type of detox.
